The pond at Tadpole School
Our story

A little pond where the whole world learns to talk.

Tadpole School turns a child's first foreign words into an adventure — one they'll want to come back to.

Why we exist

Languages are easiest — and most joyful — when you're small.

Young children pick up sounds that adults struggle with for years. Tadpole School meets them right there: warm stories, playful games, and the authentic voices of native speakers, all wrapped in a hand-painted world of ponds and meadows. No drills. No pressure. Just a friend to explore with.

🎨

Made to be loved

Every scene is painted like a picture book, so screen time feels like story time.

🗣️

Authentic from word one

Native speakers say every target word — never an English narrator with a wobbly accent.

🌍

Ten languages, one world

The same beloved characters and stories, voiced across ten languages.

Meet the pond

The friends who make every lesson feel like play.

Froglet

Froglet

The curious explorer

A bright little tadpole-turned-frog who leads the stories and seek-and-find hunts. Always the first to ask, "What is this?"

Hiro

Hiro

The big-kid adventurer

Hiro (say HEE-roh) headlines stories for ages 8–10 — camping trips and pond capers with his loyal dog, Bleu.

🍎

Miss Apple

The English host

Warm and clear, Miss Apple hosts in English and asks the questions — then hands each new word to a native speaker.

🪰

The Fly

The hidden mischief

A cheeky little fly hides in every Find It scene. Spot him for the finale giggle — then watch again to find him faster.

How Tadpole School teaches

A simple call-and-response rhythm children can follow anywhere.

1

The host asks in English

Miss Apple (or Brian, for Hiro) sets up each word in clear, friendly English — but never says the foreign word aloud.

2

A native speaker answers

A real native voice speaks the target word — slowly, authentically, and again at the end so it truly sticks.

3

Your child says it back

Call-and-response invites little ones to repeat out loud. Games and printables lock it in through play.

One English host. Ten native voices. Because a word learned with the wrong accent is hard to unlearn.

Ten languages, and counting

Voiced by native speakers, all in the same painted world.

Coming next

A tutor you can actually talk to.

Soon Froglet will listen through the mic and talk back in your child's target language — gentle, real-time pronunciation practice with a friend who never gets tired. It's the heart of where Tadpole School is headed.
